How I can be of use

Are you looking to cruise to places few people ever see? I can take you there.
Planned and cruised around Northern Norway, New England, Guadeloupe, Brazil, South Georgia, Antarctica and St. Helena.
Circumnavigated Svalbard up to 81 30' North. Reached Neko Harbour (Antarctica) until 65 South. Won Boat International's WSA Voyager Award 2025 for that voyage.
If I don’t have an answer for your questions, I know the right person to ask.

Able to act as an Owner’s Representative or as a Project Manager during your Refit.
Project-managed solo a $2.2 million refit in Greece for 7 months, including a full paintwork using Pinpoint. Complete implementation of a PMS from scratch, ISM, and attaining commercial compliance. Oversaw the change of the Flag as well as a full-scale study on stability. Budgeted everything through VOLY.
Dealt with a generator breakdown halfway towards Antarctica and arranged every aspect of the repair in Southern Brazil, without affecting schedule.
I have a track record for dealing with massive emergencies with zero casualties and minimal losses, along with a solid understanding of the insurance process.
As an Owner’s Surveyor following an incident, I will fly within 24 hours, stabilise the loss, lead the preservation efforts, handle reporting to all parties and appoint a competent legal team to maximise recourse.

Are you looking for a second, honest opinion on your asset?
Free of charge, I will carry out an remote audit on your vessel and if needed, I will perform a physical visit a well.
If you are especially looking to buy an older converted lady, my experience on both ITASCA & ASTERIA can save you a lot of hurdles and help you negotiate a better price.

Are you operating without security or medical professionals on board?
Then you might be at risk of having significant gaps in your protocols.
ISPS compliance holds little value for HNWIs, as the assessments are made by personnel outside of the security world, who have never searched for a bug, spoofed over the phone or understand how a sniper can take aim.
Flag regulations mandate the minimum medical equipment, which is often outdated and doesn’t include essential items.
As for the competency of the medical officers, would you trust your life to a person who receives a 3-day refresher training every 5 years? The nearest hospital can be a week’s sailing, and remote assistance can only do so much.
Acknowledging this extreme gap led me to become an EMT and learn about what Close Protection entails.
Having multiple contacts in the security and emergency medicine industries, I will perform a pragmatic security/medical assessment and suggest realistic solutions that can be implemented by the crew onboard.

Being a Captain & Ops Manager of a 50m yacht, my day was drained with menial repetitive tasks that took time out of the serious decisions. That motivated me to create simple automations to speed up my work.
With time, those automations became more complex and led me to develop agents and dashboards, understanding how I can take advantage of the rise of AI in a pragmatic manner, without the fluff.
If you need help with creating your MVP, a maritime consultant versed in product development or you just need a bespoke solution on utilising AI in your decisions, please visit https://app.marsoft.ai/
My Story
I began my career in the commercial world as an officer on Oil and Gas tankers.
I wanted to get involved as soon as possible with the actual management of the vessel, and that led me to yachting.
At 29, after a stroke of luck, I was offered my first international command. And the rest form a story that begins with a beautiful older lady named Asteria.
